“My wife and I arrived around 1130am on a Thursday. We would be riding our bicycles on the trails that run along the Straight River. Our plan was to park in the hotel parking lot and spend the day touring the trails, then check in later in the day. The front desk person, Ashe, greeted us in a professional and friendly manner. After hearing about our plans, Ashe told us our room was ready and we could check in immediately and use our room if necessary. That was a WOW for me and my wife. She wanted...

“Clean but needs some repairs. Breakfast was great”

“DO NOT STAY—reserve early somewhere else! This was an extremely disappointing stay. The room smelled like smoke and looked as though it hadn’t been updated in at least 10 years. The bed felt like sleeping directly on a box spring—I could literally feel the springs. Bedding consisted of one sheet and a thin blanket. The room was tiny, with just a king bed and an office chair. The window air conditioner sounded like a jet engine preparing for takeoff, making it even harder to sleep. On top of...

“Clean room in large bathroom. Please have a real closet with an iron and ironing board.”

“Colazione con pochissima scelta, camere da ristrutturare, pulizia non eccelsa”

“Room was clean with fresh linens. Parking easy close to town and college . Older hotel but maintained. Breakfast was horrible. Coffee was good.”

“Working USB port in the room, I also appreciated how clean the carpet felt!”

“It was clean, quiet and nice.”

“Clean”

“The accommodations were nice and what we expected. When you enter, the rooms are located on the second floor so you walk up a set of stairs. Each of the rooms have a lock on the door and there is a shared living space between the two rooms. It was not possible to find an Uber so either you need to have your own vehicle or plan on walking.”

“We loved staying in this clean family friendly home that is located in a very convenient location. Really appreciated the friendly touches like the welcome candy, personalized welcome note and lots of information about local attractions. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything we needed. Our friendly host made sure all of our needs were met. Perfect place for our weekend stay in Minnesota!”

“When you rent a cabin on a lake, you do need to expect a rustic experience. While the inside was clean and well represented, the deck, deck furniture, grill, landscaping and railing to the dock appeared to have been neglected for some time. Many spiders and spider webs everywhere, making it uncomfortable to sit outside without cleaning first. We enjoyed our stay, however I do feel that the price paid did not reflect the cabin we received. I have booked rentals all over the world and have...

“Great opportunity for my daughter and I to enjoy lake life! The cabin is super cute and we loved using the kayaks and paddle boards. We got a kick out of the chickens and ducks walking around the property. But the best surprise was opening a drawer to find dog toys! My DaisyMae was so thrilled!”

“It it rare to find a well-appointed property like this one. It was well designed and organized with high quality appliances and kitchenware. Erin was incredibly fast with responding to all communications. The property was close to many restaurants and coffee shops.”

“The pictures were accurate, we met our host, very friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean, lovely. The shower head needs to be changed, the spray is harsh. Other than that the stay was wonderful.”
